Location: Austin, TX The year is 2005. The roots music scene in Los Angeles was at a boiling point with the hallowed Cinema Bar at it’s center. On any given night the stage was alive with deeply talented musicians. But it was every other Saturday when Randy Weeks (and sidemen Mike Stinson, Tony Gilkyson, and Joshua Grange) took the stage that you could actually feel the small venue elevate several hundred feet over the adjacent 405 freeway. Randy and I had a blast doing the package for this record. It’s still one of my favorite collection of songs and one of my favorite graphic layouts as well. You can see the whole thing here.
